If I could travel the world, JUST to try different foods, I would– I’d be a foodie. I’m particularly interested in food. It makes me happy. It brings me joy. Haha! I can’t tell a tale and say I would be willing, however. It has always taken me a while to open up to foods. After all, it’s only been a couple of years where I first tried and enjoyed shrimp-the people’s choice. Funny story. I was so not for shrimp, my mom would cook it only for my little brothers while I struggled to pick out the sea bug in my food. I also enjoyed helping out in the kitchen on these meals my mom prepared, and well the day came to peel shrimp. Here I am, having never eaten the darn thing and asked to peel it. I took one look at the gray critter on ice and vomited in my mouth. I never thought I’d see the day I popped one in my mouth.
